Gangster’s advanced Class D technology can realize high efficiency of more than 90%, leads to lower power consumption and less heat. In practice this is crucial, since many amplifiers shut down because of accumulated heat. Our Class D amplifiers comes in smaller size with lighter weight, providing advantages both for installation and touring.

Power Factor Correction (PFC)
Gangster’s new generation PFC design offers the following advantages:
- Allows amplifier to deliver full power even during fluctuations in mains power
- Highest power density – allows for superb bass performance
- Reduced required generator capacity
- Higher stability even in poor mains conditions, e.g. in remote areas
- Cooler operation
- Lower distortion
Full-Bridge SMPS design allows optimized current conversion and increases reliability.
Dynamic Rail Voltage Management (DRVM)
DRVM technology significantly reduces the difference between the output voltage and rails voltage enabled by a real-time voltage tracking system. DRVM incorporates feedback loops between the output signal and power supply. These feedback loops are used to dynamically modulate the rails voltage to dramatically improve efficiency and decrease heat dissipation.

IGBT Transistors
